Coding Camp by The Coder School

At The Coder School®, we have a project-based game development curriculum. We immerse kids in coding by building stuff and then building more stuff! “Fun with Scratch!” is our entry-level program for the novice and younger coder. Scratch is a visual programming language used to create games, tell stories and make graphics. Kids bring out their inherent creativity and learn logic by combining elements of video, music, pictures and artwork to make interactive games. It is fun to watch the ‘aha’ moments as they learn the basic syntax of a command, ‘if then’ statements and loops such as the ‘forever’ loop and how this ‘magical’ command will have the object of their interest in thrall forever! Laptops provided. All St. Louis County Health Department guidelines will be followed. Make it a full-day camp by adding another Lodge half-day camp and Lunch Bunch registration. Due to additional camp forms required for your child’s safety, registration will only be taken online. Registration deadline is 6/15. Minimum 6/Maximum 10
