Art is Sweet! Ages 8–10

Campers split their time between making and decorating delicious desserts, such as cupcakes and ice cream, and creating art inspired by food using drawing, painting, and sculpture. Inspired by artists like Claes Oldenburg and Wayne Thiebaud—and by their own baking, they explore art and food. Along the way, they learn about kitchen safety and practice basic skills like measuring and following directions. You must list any food restrictions or food allergies under"special needs"on the registration form or call COCA at least two weeks prior to camp to provide information about allergies. Features multiple professional teaching artists to present a variety of arts disciplines.
