Beginning Adventures with EVie the EV3 Robot

Design, build and program awe-inspiring robots using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3. You’ll work as a team to complete projects and missions created specifically for EV3! Students need little to no prior experience with the LEGO EV3 kits and programming. We will start with basic “Base Bot” moves, then implement the Touch, Light/Color, and Ultrasonic sensors and expand understanding of sensors and programming. Then we will apply those skills to modify and build a robot capable of maneuvering around obstacles, advance through a series of challenges, and program their robot to have unique “EVie” and “stEVie” personalities. By the end of the week you will understand the Engineering Design Process and have the skills needed to build and program with EV3!
