Intro to Game Design Camp

Campers create their own video games and learn how to create apps that are compatible with PC computers and Android™ and/or iOS devices. This camp is a perfect opportunity for aspiring game designers to come away with added skills, knowledge, awesome projects, and lots of accomplishments! In addition to using objects and scenery, campers can design their own or manipulate the design of objects and expand the games and apps to multiple frames and scenes, resulting in a complete multi-level arcade or platform game/app. Valuable Learning Opportunities include a chance to manage a project from start to finish, explore programming logic, and build skills in animation and design. Camp Take-Homes: At least two video games, Game Design – Certificate of Excellence, a 2020 Limited Edition T-Shirt, and a Lavner Camps VIP Lanyard.
