Campers will learn the history of Camp Pegnita through a series of stories, games, and events. The counselors will put on a play depiciting the latest "legend" of camp early in the week and then the campers will be broken into teams to compete in various tasks. Campers will need to use cooperation skills, thinking skills, and their physical abilities to follow the clues, complete required tasks, and avoid being caught by the temple guards.

Camp Pegnita has been welcoming children from the St. Louis area for over 70 years. On our beautiful 7 acre campus our campers have the opportuinty to experience something different every day. Our fabulous staff help cultivate community and lifelong friendships by providing our campers with days of endless fun. A week at Pegnita includes swimming in our on site pool, art with our art director, archery, wacky games, messy activites, sports, music, nature, cooking, campfires and anything else our phenomenally creative staff can come up with.
