Intro to 3D Printing and TinkerCad

Explore the fascinating world of 3D modeling in our “Intro to 3D modeling and design with Tinkercad” class. Students will learn fundamental design principles and 3D modeling basics. SketchUp is simple enough for a beginner to learn, yet powerful enough for use in a variety of professions, including architecture and interior design, video game development, movie set and exhibit design, and for creating and prototyping models for 3D printing. Students may choose their own project or select from options provided. At the end of our class, students will display their digital 3D model or 3D printed prototype in a culminating mini-exhibition.
