Transitioning Exceptional Adults to Meaningful Work and Leisure, TEAMWORK, is a program that provides opportunity for self-discovery through development of skills in 6 domains: meaningful employment, community living, safety/security, healthy living, socialization, and citizenship/advocacy. It is designed for young adults with special needs who have exited or are preparing to exit high school through age 30, to bridge the gap and assist in meaningful connection to their community. The program is driven by its members, who participate in activities that connect to their particular talents and interests. This program is designed to supplement other systems and pursuits that our participants are already engaged in, bringing connection while discovering and celebrating their unique talents and abilities.
