Pioneer Days

Girls will spend the week exploring what it would have been like as a pioneer woman. Venture down to the swimming hole (swimming pond) to cool off. Head to the local Chuck Wagon for lunch and learn to cook over an open fire. Test your hunting skills at the archery range. Enjoy games and crafts like the pioneers did. Imagine exploring nature around you on a wooden raft (standup paddleboard) and canoe or fun yak around the fishing pond. Each unit will also build and race their own boat (cardboard boat) on Friday at the family event. On Friday, June 19th, we will be offering an optional overnight camp at the Freedom Farm Lodge for girls 4th grade and up. The cost of the overnight is $15 per girl. Include the overnight payment in your registration fee.
