Book & Papermaking

The YMCA & Edwardsville Arts Center have partnered for many summers to offer fine art classes. We focus on creating, but also engage in gallery visits, building habits & art discussions. In this class, students will learn how to make their own paper using pulp and a screen, and we’ll also make our own book using book binding techniques! Kids will love using sketchbooks they made themselves, or writing and illustrating stories on their own handmade paper.
