Adventurous artists make a dinosaur discovery story. They create their own human, T-rex, or raptor character to base our story around, then weave them together for a play to amaze and terrify. From building papier-mâché dinosaur masks to making their own fossils, they design prop elements to share their tale with family and friends on the final day of camp. Discovering Dinos concludes with an in-person performance for family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Features multiple professional teaching artists to present a variety of arts disciplines.
Campers, ages 3–18, have the opportunity to learn and experience new things, build their skills, and—most importantly—have fun. At COCA, we pride ourselves on offering some of the most creative Summer Arts Camps for kids and teens.
Summer Arts Camps are offered at our campus in University City and at University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) in the Central West End.
Camps start the day after Memorial Day and run through August 15, providing families with 12 weeks of summer arts opportunities. Before and after care is offered for ages 5+. Sliding Scale Tuition is available for qualifying students.
