Campers utilize COCA's outdoor and indoor spaces to explore land art. They make leaf prints, build stepping stones, create rock mandalas, explore natural weavings, and watercolor garden landscapes in this STEAM camp. They go on walks to source materials to augment their creations and learn about the history and traditions of outdoor expression. Catch Some Sun concludes with campers bringing home the work they created.
Campers, ages 3–18, have the opportunity to learn and experience new things, build their skills, and—most importantly—have fun. At COCA, we pride ourselves on offering some of the most creative Summer Arts Camps for kids and teens.
Summer Arts Camps are offered at our campus in University City and at University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) in the Central West End.
Camps start the day after Memorial Day and run through August 15, providing families with 12 weeks of summer arts opportunities. Before and after care is offered for ages 5+. Sliding Scale Tuition is available for qualifying students.
