Holiday Cards with Geli Plates (Family Workshops Second Saturdays)

Have you ever created prints with geli plates? Join us on this Second Saturday and create a really unique holiday card using geli plates as a printmaking method. Christine Tavares will help to inspire your artistic expression while you explore this unique printmaking method. Instructions, inspiration and supplies will be provided. Second Saturdays at the Foundry provides the opportunity for families to participate in self-guided art-making, gallery exploration and interaction with working artists. Explore materials, learn new techniques, and meet other community members while enjoying creative time with your family. Family workshops are suggested for children ages 5 to 12 with their favorite grown-up, however all ages are welcome. Second Saturday is on open house-style workshop where your family has the freedom to drop in anytime between 1 and 3 PM.
