LoveU2Pieces Practice Party: Birthday Party!

Birthday parties can be overwhelming! LoveU2Pieces Practice Parties are designed to help children with diagnoses such as autism, developmental delay, ADHD or social anxiety better prepare for events that are out of the typical routine and helps make the events more enjoyable for all. Guided by early childhood expert Mandi Heiser-Fisher, participants in the Practice Party have the opportunity to experience a celebration on a smaller scale. The Practice Party experience helps children learn more about what to expect at these events, how to recognize when they might need a break, and strategies/tools to help manage the big emotions that go with parties. This program is designed for children is grades K-5 and their caretakers.
