Students will learn various manufacturing skills such as measuring, operating various hand and power tools, reading blueprints and much more! Sudents compile these skills into a camp project that the studen gets to build and keep.

Boone Center, Inc. is a 501©3 nonprofit that exists to inspire and support people with disabilities, challenging personal growth and development through a continuum of innovative employment services. This camp is an extention of BCI's competitive employment services that allows students to gain experience with and exposure to the high-demand industry of manufacturing. This camp is FREE to participants and is funded through a generous grant from the Nuts, bolts and Thingamijigs Foundation. Camp will run Monday-Friday, 8:00a-12:00p between Monday, July 15 - Friday, August 9. This camp is hosted by BCI, but supported by Lewis & Clark Career Center in Saint Charles, MO. Camp will be held onsite at Lewis & Clark daily. There will be offsite field trips to learn about local manufacturers.
