Designed as an introduction to machine sewing, campers learn fundamental machine sewing skills, such as threading a needle, winding a bobbin, and seaming, as they explore types of stitches and stitch accuracy. Students practice using the machine to create simple sewing projects and improve their sewing skills.

Campers ages 3–18 enjoy a unique and fun-filled summer experience in a FUN, RELAXED environment where they can express their creativity and gain self-confidence. With hundreds of camps and a variety of options, COCA offers summer arts camp experiences that meet your family’s needs. Camps run May 31–August 19. Choose from indoor, outdoor, and virtual camps, as well as morning, afternoon, and full day options. Before and after care is offered for ages 5+. Need-based financial assistance for Summer Arts Camps is available. Summer Arts Camps follow COCA’s Health & Safety Procedures.
