Ranger Program

"Rangers Rule The Ranch!" If your Scout is looking for a week packed with adventure, look no further. The Ranger Program is a one-of-a-kind, week-long, back country camping adventure. Scouts spend the week backpacking to various outpost campsites across the 3,500+ acre S-F Scout Ranch. Activities can include blacksmithing, challenge courses, wilderness survival skill practice, black powder rifle shooting, fishing, canoeing across the 270 acre Nims Lake, and much more! Designed for youth age 14 or older, or in their 4th summer of camp, the Ranger Program is a great option as an additional week of camp. All leadership is provided so Scouts can attend on their own or with a group. The Ranger Program is also a great preparation opportunity for a trek at Philmont Scout Ranch.
