Chess Camp (Intermediate/Advanced)

Chess Camp is a fun way to introduce chess to newcomers of the game as well as deepen the understanding of the game for intermediate or advanced players. Whether you are interested in casual or competitive chess, this camp is for you. Pins, forks, skewers, discoveries, sacrifices and defending against the ATTACK! Understanding the game’s basic fundamentals and scenarios is the goal of this camp. Players are placed in groups according to skill levels to practice strategy and moves while expanding their critical thinking skills concluding with a fun, in-class tournament. We may even take a trip to the Chess Club during this camp week. Chess Master Jason Clark and his team will lead this camp.
