Summer Stage, grades 1-6

This class introduces grade school-aged children to the fundamentals of musical theatre while performing in a safe, encouraging environment. Students will explore movement, music, and storytelling while learning the fundamental skills necessary to perform. Short lecture segments on theatre terminology, history, and techniques are mixed in with high-energy games and activities that reinforce the lessons. Children develop confidence as they prepare a number or two for our end-session showcase and get their first glimpse into the joy of being on stage!
