Calling all mini-makers! Have you ever wanted to develop and build your own toy? Design a circuit to illuminate your beautiful creations. Or maybe build the playground of your dreams? Students will hone their inquiring, designing, and building skills and learn how to turn their imagination into reality through engaging, hands-on STEM projects. Throughout the week, they will learn the key principles of circuits, physics, and the engineering design process as they tinker through fun challenges. Put on your thinking caps and join us, Maker Extraordinaires!

We can’t wait for Summer! IMSA’s hands-on, inquiry-based summer programs foster collaborative and creative problem solving in a supportive and fun environment. We hope your child will come think, explore, and create with us this summer! Science, mathematics and technology take the center stage in Summer@IMSA programs as students utilize discovery, exploration, and problem-solving in innovative ways. Summer@IMSA programs are offered in Aurora, Springfield, Belleville, and O'Fallon, IL. MetroEast (Belleville and O'Fallon) programs are designed for students entering 3rd thru 8th grades (Fall 2023) who have an interest or passion for math and science. IMSA offers needs-based scholarships and scholarships for students from military families in the greater St. Louis area! Volunteer opportunities are available for high school and college students.
