Drawing for the Young Artist

From preparing the paper to mounting a finished drawing, Drawing Camp explores the ins and outs of how to draw like a professional artist while learning the fundamentals needed to best represent 3-dimensional space on a 2-dimensional surface. The instructor will familiarize the class with artist-quality materials while completing drawings from life using three different media: charcoal, pencils, and ink. By the end of the week, students will have a deeper understanding of how to draw the world around them and how to push their talents beyond what they knew they could achieve.
