Young people ages 9 to 16 will spend a fun summer with Good Journey learning and having unique experiences. Young people will cultivate Good Journey's Youth Community Garden, do fun and relatable math, participate in online AI technology, lead community projects, learn African dance and KiSwahili, study Black history that relates to their present world experiences, write poetry and stories, and create art that inspires. Young people will develop communication and leadership skills and learn to work collectively to accomplish goals. Four young people ages 16 to 19 have the opportunity to serve as youth mentors and receive a summer stipend. Scholarships are offered, with preference given to underserved and underresourced families.
