Are you looking for a summer camp that will help your child learn about nature, connect with the outdoors, and have fun? Join Little Leaders Academy this summer for CARE Adventure Camp. CARE summer session aims to get children ages 4-8 in nature daily while also supporting their inherent need to explore, experiment, and find connection with their peers and place. Our camp has a garden where your child can learn about gardening and growing their own food. Last summer the children enjoyed growing their own salads for lunch! Our learners are hands-on and creative. They opened a sushi restaurant to learn about Japanese cuisine, dissected owl pellets to learn about the animal kingdom, sculpted mushrooms to learn about the fungi kingdom, and retold the Ruwa Changa God myth to learn about Tanzanian culture. Our learners are excited to learn and explore, and they are always up for a challenge. If you are looking for a learning experience that is both engaging and educational, then our learning community is for you. Our Summer program will offer a balance between ample time to play, explore and structured experiential activities designed to introduce little leaders to caring for the land, themselves, and each other. Care Adventure Camp was created with developing 4-8 years of age in mind and will meet Monday-Friday from 8am to 3pm. We will have after summer camp enrichment available till 4:30pm. Registration Details Please Note: Little Leaders Academy is located near Grants Farm in South County. We are accepting applications to interview. Investment: $1357 / month Session: June 3rd-August 9th Daily we practice emotional development: breathing, affirmations, meditation and yoga. We are outside the majority of the time and see a lot of wildlife since we are near a creek (our outdoor learning lab is fenced in). We do a lot of STEAM, cultural studies and activities that develop entrepreneurial skills/traits.
