Activities for the camp will include: Enhancing observation skills useful for self-reflection and inquiry Examining portraits and self-portraits by a variety of artists from diverse cultural backgrounds Critiquing other student's artworks, offering specific praise and constructive criticism This camp is led by engineer, teacher, and long-time photographer Lois Ingrum. Ingrum is president and lead photographer at the Artists Media Co-op and has been doing corporate and event photography in St. Louis longer than she is willing to admit. She trains a corps of high school students in skills necessary to become video producers, and she has taught in St. Louis public schools and produced photographs for virtually every major St. Louis corportation. The program is $125 for IPHF members, and $150 for non-members. There are scholarships avaialable. To apply, please visit the camp event page on our website.
